Brief description about company

The Department hosts teaching and research programs in Applied Geology and Environmental and Water Science (EWS), integrating a strategic focus on natural resources in the context of the different layers of the Earth system (litosphere, atmosphere, hydrosphere and biosphere). In particular, the EWS program aims to increase the understanding of surface water, groundwater and ecosystems linkages, and how water users are affected and affect these components.
